Group management 1.8 -> 14.1

Hello,

I updated my server from 1.8 to 14.1, the problem is i don’t have the group managing anymore.

I tried to get the password and login from the usage statistic screen of the 1.8 but i can not find it, can someone tell me how it works exactly, or maybe someone have a tutorial ?

Did you get the credentials after submitting the usage statistics ?

The group management app is only available in the community edition to
users that have submitted usage statistics before October 2014.

Hi, no the problem is i don’t have te credentials, but i uplaod statistic before 2014 on my 1.8, do you know how it works to get the login and the password, what is the process to get them ?

You have to upload the statistics again, and thus wait that your platform EGW proposes it to you.

You can force a statistic reupload. It’s somewhere in the admin section.

AFAIK, you can’t and have to wait for the next time (usually one month
later).

You will then get a message with the credentials to download and install
the group management app. Keep a copy of this message.

It’s at " Admin -> Submit statistic information"

And yes, you need to keep 28 days between submissions.

I think the date is stored in the database somewhere, you could fake a
different date and then resubmit sooner.

Do you know how is ti possible to manage the groupe directly in the data base ?

I don’t think it’s advisable, it is too complex
