How to setup php opcache parameters

Hello,
in the section “Please note / Errata” of the page https://github.com/EGroupware/egroupware/wiki/Release-notes-17.1 I’ve found this notice:
To speed up PHP you should install an opcode cache like OpCache

How I’ve to setup the opcache parameters to have the best performace for egroupware?

Setting up OpCache with default parameters already improves performance tremendous.
I don’t think it makes much sense to tweak any OpCache parameters for a regular EGroupware installation.

Hi synt,

there’s nothing to be done. OpCache only needs to be installed and activated in the web server.
Do a package installation! Then it’s all going to be fine.

thanks for your answers.

I’ve install php-opcache package in centos 7 but with default parameters egroupware improves performance just a little not tremendous.

Keep in mind that users who use egroupware have almost 50 appointments per day and when you switch from one day to another the page loads in almost 5 seconds

That’s not abnormal.

Please consider my contributions:

I would do a test installation (as described) and see if it gets better.
The time you are currently using should be put into a new perfect installation.
