Infolog items missing from addressbook after upgrade

Hi,

i have upgraded my egw installation to the latest 14.2 version ( i had 1.8
running before).
I have some issues while upgrading but i was able to make it work.

However, i have small issue now. In the old version, when i open address
book ,lookup for entry and open it for review, the infolog items related
for that person were loading below. In my updated version, that is not the
case anymore. I am not getting error on screen, there are no errors in the
error log, but the infolog items are not there when i open addressbook
entry.

Is there way to enable this feature? I searched for solution online, but i
wasn’t able to find any. so i decided to right you.

Hello.

I can confirm the issue that Goran is experiencing.
I am currently having the same issue.

I have upgraded from 1.8 to 14.2

All infolog entries and links still exist and link to the correct people.
The problem that is happening is that once you open an address book contact, it transfers to the contact information page.
To the right of the contact details, I can only assume, should be a crm view of either the infolog or tracking system entries linked to the contact.

This region is blank, like Goran said, with no error messages and no notification in the logs.

At this point I have no idea where to look to fix this.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give any pointers where I might look?
This issue is extremely vague. I have no information to go on to tell me where the problem may lie.
Why would it be a caching issue?

Can you point me to the modules that control the crm view on addressbook contacts?
I will take a look and see if I find something out of the ordinary.

I’ve been looking through what could be the cause of this issue.

I suspect that it may be related to eTemplate. When I inspect the crm view region, eTemplate is referencing an “empty” template.
I’m drawing at straws here but is this how it should be?
action="/egroupware/etemplate/empty.html"

It seems to be doing all the calls, but it’s just not displaying anything.
All the grid pickups and commands are there.

Really need assistance on this matter as it is extremely fustrating.

Seems I was mistaken by the action="/egroupware/etemplate/empty.html"

The normal infolog contains the same. It still appears to be a displaying issue.

This issue has been troubling for a while.
