Jitsi, is it possible to set the video quality before starting the call?

Hello Together,
sometimes data conditions are not so good, or you you just want to do only a voice call. In jitsi, you can change this after you have started the call.

Is It possible to sent this setting to jisti via the url? If yes, then a nice feature would be to add a menu entry name i.e.

“Voice call”

to the following status menu:

Thank you, that is a very good question/feature request.

Yes, it is possible to make an audio only call via Jitsi, it is not yet implemented though. It is on my roadmap and it will be available soon with many other cool integration features.
