Hi, I don’t understand what your problem was - you fixed it with changing the Egroupware login type to SQL (it’s my standard anyway)?
In the meantime I setup a mail server on the same server on which egroupware is running. I tested the mailserver (dovecot) successfully, send, receive, ssl, starttls - everything works - but not in egroupware. I still get the same errors.
Whether I choose standard IMAP server or doveceot, an internal or an external mail server, dovecot or courier, mailserver running on debian wheezy or jessie.
The egroupware should run with debian wheezy, testing is not supported, I read. But wheezy only has php 5.4.x - maybe there is a problem with this? But then, on the other hand if php 5.5 was required, that would mean that debian is not supported (jessie/testing currently has 5.6RC2). But if there was no debian support (imho the most important distro especially for a German based software), why is there debian packages?
I hope somebody from stylite is reading this and clearing or clarifying the issue, it seems a central one.
