Hi,
I have EGW 16.1 on one server and the rest (postfix,sasl,cyrus-imap,LDAP) on another one.
Everything what I tried till now worked fine except of sieve in mail module.

My setting of sieve in mail account is (Enable Sieve: Yes, Sieve server: IP of server with cyrus-imap, Secure connection: No, Port: 4190 .

I can create mail filter, but I can’t save it. When saving I got tis error: A request to the EGroupware server returned with an error: OK (200) Please reload the EGroupware desktop (F5 / Cmd+r). If the error persists, contact your administrator for help and ask to check the error-log of the webserver. URL: /egroupware/json.php?menuaction=EGroupware\Api\Etemplate::ajax_process_content

And when I try to click on Vacation notice: browser gives me this error: Expected a command. Got something else.

I tried to connect to sieve via sieve-connect utility.
sieve-connect -s 192.168.0.204 --authmech PLAIN --notlsverify -u username
And with this utility I can connect to my sieve script without problem.

So my question is. Is there anyone with similar configuration (EGW on different server then the rest) with
working sieve ?

when I open mail app. i EGW I got this one error:
mail_ui::ajax_refreshVacationNotice4229 "Expected a command. Got something else.

When I click on “Mail filter” to set new mail filter I got this one error:
mail_sieve::getRules1182"Expected a command. Got something else."

And finally when I try to save new filter. It is impossible to save and I got these errors:

change the order of AUTH_PLAIN

This works for me.

This works for me.

Last time I raised that issue with Horde devs, I got the answer that the
IMAP server announces one of that other methods, but did not support it.
So it is a configuration problem of the IMAP server.

In general we could use plain as a default for encrypted connections.
For unencrypted ones the digests have the (arguable slight) benefit of
not transmitting the password in the clear.
