Then EGroupware should be working with your SMTP server.
The setup is relative easy, but getting existing mails from Cyrus to Dovecot is a different story.
- If you only have a couple tec-affine users, they can do it with a fat-client like Thunderbird by copying between the old and new account themselfs.
- There are companies like our partner Audriga who can migrate even huge numbers of accounts between mailservers using a list of accounts and passwords.
- Dovecot has tools to read mails via IMAP and write them in it’s own mailboxes
Setting up our EGroupware-Mail package is something we can assist you with on relative short notice. Migration of accounts is something we usually outsource to our partner Audriga, thought we can organize that for you.
We normally install EGroupware-Mail because of it’s push-integration with and administration through EGroupware.
If you’re sure you’re SMTP supports TLSv1.2, I would recommend to buy some support to look into why it’s not working with EGroupware. We will quickly determine the cause and then either fix it or suggest some solution. If the solution takes some time to implement we can also switch you back on the previous EGroupware version in the meantime.
