Hi Georges,
Hello,
In the EGroupware setup page
(http://example.com/egroupware/setup/config.php), I can’t find the “Standard
mailserver settings (used for Mail authentication too):” section.
Instead, there is a section named “If using Mail authentication (requires
PHP IMAP extension!:”, but it only contains IMAP settings, nothing for SMTP.
http://egroupware.219119.n3.nabble.com/file/n4005280/mail_settings.png
That’s because that setting is just for authentication against a mail /
IMAP server.
Mail accounts are defined in 14.1 inside EGroupware either in mail app
or via right click on a user and selecting “mail account”.
Admin basics and creating an email account tutorial videos shows how
that works:

I want to enable e-mail notifications for calendar events, and therefore
need to configure the SMTP server and account info.
Where have these settings been moved to? How can I get e-mail notifications
for calendar events to work?
I am using EGroupware version 14.2.20150212, it has been installed on an
Ubuntu 14.04 from the OpenSUSE repository
(http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/eGroupWare/xUbuntu_14.04/),
using the default settings.
Thank you,
Georges Dupéron
