Adding option to addressbook

Hi, I’m new to php coding so I find it very difficult to interpret the source code of eGW.
I need help adding a new option in the Addressbook menu, all it needs to do is open up a new page which I have created.

Also, the “done” button on the infolog module does not set the entry to done, but instead refreshes the page and removes the filter.

Any help I could get regarding these problems will be highly appreciated

The file you want is /addressbook/inc/class.addressbook_hooks.inc.php
The location is ‘sidebox_menu’, you should be able to use lines 32-38
as an example.

Hi, I checked for the file but I can not find it in the source. I am currently using version 1.4.004 (the one that came with ubuntu). Is there a way to do it with this distribution?

class.hooks_addressbook.inc.php.
You can compare against this file, to find the relevant sections:
