Best way to install?

I’m a little confused on what is the best way to install EGroupware.

The 20.1 branch doc/docker/README.md seems to be the most accurate. ??

I did finally find the Distribution-specific page. That helped. For Fedora I used the RHEL_7 repo.

Note – on the 21.1 README.md , that docker-compose.yml has “20.1” – and this is what is in the file I get from curl. Is this correct?

First things first: the recommend way is described in the wiki, which is also linked from our Website.

Github is mostly for people who need an installation for developing EGroupware.

That is a rather complicated method and only recommended for non Linux hosts, or exotic Linux distributions, for which we build no packages.

I did finally find the Distribution-specific page. That helped. For Fedora I used the RHEL_7 repo.

That’s the correct one, thought Fedora is not one of the distros we support / constantly test, but the RHEL repo could work.

No, it’s outdated, need to fix it. The tag is always the version, so for 21.1 it’s 21.1.
