Hey all, and happy new year!
I have come across something which I thought would be a nice feature. In my
deploy, I have about 450 users, all broken down into groups and also
sub-groups. Some of the users simply have accounts inorder for managment to
be able to co-ordinate days off / holidays. I give my managers write access
to all their respective staff calendars. This way any staff member who
submits holiday requests has those holidays entered by their manager into
their calendar. By doing so, when we go into the planner view we are able to
get a clear picture of, for example, holidays given a specific group. Works
very nice. Planner view provides a quick and clear representation of all
group availability.
Now my thought was this, when in planner view for a group, all the user
names are listed on the left side. This is great, but would it be possible
to have those names ‘click-able’? This way, instead of having to scroll
through the calendar menu drop down menu for users, the manager can quickly
just select from the group members already shown in the planner view.
I hope ive explained that clear enough. It may not be possible but i found
it sure would be handy exspecially since we have so many users.
