What is happening here is - I guess - that fudforum, does not support the
1.5x way
eGroupware is coded. I do not think, that register all hooks will solve the
issue, but it will not hurt.
If fudforum is working, even for the new users. Ignore the errors, or get
someone to
fix the issue.

Hi Klaus:
Thanks again. I was able to install the egw-pear application and get the
missing egw-pear screens to appear for adding and editing user accounts to
work.
However, I get the following error messages at the top of the screen when
editing or adding user accounts:

How can I fix this issue? Do I need to select ‘Find and Register All
Application Hooks’ on the admin menu?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank yoy very much,

The plan sounds o.k. too me.
After you copied the files, make sure you enter setup, manage
applications
and install egw-pear
If it is all it takes, you will see, but it should solve the missing
egw-pear thing.

Hi Klaus:
Thanks. Just a few more questions.
I went to sourceforge.net and downloaded the
eGroupware-egw-pear-1.4.002.tar.bz2 file. My question is: Once I copy
the
file onto the webserver, where do I need to install the uncompressed,
downloaded files?
Also, when I uncompress the files, will it create a directory called
’egw-pear’? And then should I make sure that the egw-pear directory is
under the egroupware directory?
My plan is to uncompress the files in a separate directory likr /usr/src
and
then move the egw-pear directory under /var/www/html/egroupware. Does
this
sound like a correct plan of action?
Is this all that I need to do so that the missing fiels are found, the
next
time that I use the admin user accounts function in eGroupware?
Thanks again.

It wshould be enough just to install egw-pear. You shouldnt need to
reinstall all applications.

No. I don’t believe that I did. So, should I re-install the
applications
and when doing it, check the egw-pear box in setup?

It seems, he is missing (or could not find) IMAP.php
it should be located in the
/var/www/html/egroupware/egw-pear/Net
folder.
Did you enable egw-pear in setup->manage-applications??

Please have a look at your webservers error_log.
Since usually if you get white pages, the php skript fails with an
fatal
error.
This should be some more informations to help us and you to resolve

Hi:
After installing eGroupware version 1.4, I discovered that I had a
problem
when trying the add new user accounts or edit existing ones. I
click
the
“add” new user button and nothing is displayed on the screen.
Also,
when
I
click “edit”, nothing appears on the screen but the variables get
passed
correctly. I know this because when I click “view” for a user
account
the
page is displayed correctly with the right information.
Is this a php error? How can I resolve this issue? Do I have to
re-install the Admin application to fix it?
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Cheryl Dixon
