Dear Mr Becker, Dear all,
I am seeing with great excitement the recent developpments around documents managing.
One of the main features I am looking at is the webdav integration.
Indeed, as I understand, it would allow users to access (read and write) the file repository throught any davclient (and particularly windows explorer, which would be great for many users) and through egw of course
Unfortunalty, on my installation (latest apache2 php5 mysql5), only MyDMS supports it for the time being (if I set an http directory as files repository and set webdav to retrieve files information, MyDMS is the only one not complaining)
I understand you are in active developpment, may be should I be more patient…
But may be can I help testing or even debugging…
Can you tell me if
*uploading files through /filemanager/webdav.php/home/user is supposed to work now (means i have a configuration problem or bug) or later (means i have to be patient) (for now I can read the repository but writing is not allowed)
*filescenter has a new life (I see the directory is now used for the new vfs files)
- have you changed yours plans to invest filescenter rather than the new filemanager
- is it supposed to work with webdav as backend file repository (it was not formerly, if I understand well)
*filemanager is supposed to accept uploading when I use the webdav backend (or will it be able to do it later) (for now I have a problem in the copy function between tmp directory and destination directory)
*filemanager is supposed to detect and show files I would have uploaded through another dav client (I mean otherwise than through egw)
Thank you very much for such a great job
