Tine becomes an experimental part of the eGroupWare project.
-
Tine code and ongoing development will be relocated to the eGroupWare
svn.
-
Tine developers who are not currently eGroupWare members will get svn
access to the Tine tree within the eGroupWare svn. Prior to the
proposed vote in 2008 about accepting or rejecting the Tine codeline as
the future eGW codebase, they will not become full project members.
After that, the current membership process will apply to them.
-
As Tine is an experimental part of eGroupWare, the discussion about
it will be limited to the developer lists of the project, or to
dedicated Tine lists, to which everyone interested can subscribe. The
current national lists, are regarded as user lists, as is the English
egroupware-users list.
-
There will be no public announcements or press releases which are
are not sanctioned by the project itself, including its administration,
as long as Tine is part of the eGroupWare project.
If the above rules for being part of the eGroupWare project are
violated, the eGroupWare admins will act:
- blocking the offending email addresses from the list
- if blocks are circumvented and/or if the violation otherwise persists,
we will regard that as an action against the project and will respond
accordingly
The proposed vote on 20th December is hereby canceled.
This is a consensus decision made by the three elected project admins of
the eGroupWare project. In accordance with our constitution, it is
binding. For more information, please consult
