Help with testing requested

Hi All,

I just committed an untested Tracker update (rev 25600); this one
implements forwarding messages from unknown senders
(Siteconfiguration->Mail Handling tab, see the manual for descriptions).

Reason I can’t test is, my testserver can’t send mail, and on my
prodserver I can’t upgrade to 1.5.004 'coz PDO_Mysql doesn’t wanna work
(Anyone familiair with this?
"[root@web root]# php -v
php: relocation
error: /hsphere/shared/apache/libexec/php5ext/pdo_mysql.so: undefined
symbol: php_pdo_declare_long_contant")

Anyway, can someone test this part for me? Everything else has been
tested; if this works, I’m ready voor 1.6RC1

Thanks for your input.
At what point exactly did you get this error?
It doesn’t look like an issue related to the mail handling, but i can probably reproduce it, and thus fix it

Sorry, I should have known.
It’s lates Revision of TRUNK (including tracker) as of Friday Morning. It
seems to be a POSTGRES
only problem. Its not related to data, since I unistalled Tracker, and
Reinstalled it, and the Problem
persists.
I get it if I try to open Tracker Main View.
I can enter Konfiguration and Preferences for Tracker just fine if I access
them via Admin/Preferences.
If I look at the select-statement, and keep in mind the things that I know
of Oracle
SELECT egw_tracker., COUNT(something) … GROUP by egw_tracker.tr_id ORDER
BY …
must fail. I think at this point, some should split the query in question,
Select egw_tracker.tr_id, Count(something) … GROUP by …
and
Select egw_tracker. …
and rejoin the results afterwards or using a UNION Statement or a construct
using the
Select egw_tracker.tr_id, Count(something) … GROUP by … Statement as
"Table", joining it
while querying the Rest: Select egw_tracker.* …
This way the Database is doing the work, but may have Problems with
performance, since the
joining with a resultset as table, will most probably not use any indexing
on the virtual
table (result set of the “Select egw_tracker.tr_id, Count(something) …
GROUP by …” Statement).
It may be a problem introduced by Ralfs work, or even existing before that
time, but …

I have been talking with Ralf. He introduced that behavior/bug regarding
POSTGRES…
I fixed it, using an explizit list for grouping, if the database is not
mysql.

Hi All,

I just committed an untested Tracker update (rev 25600); this one
implements forwarding messages from unknown senders
(Siteconfiguration->Mail Handling tab, see the manual for
descriptions).

Reason I can’t test is, my testserver can’t send mail, and on my
prodserver I can’t upgrade to 1.5.004 'coz PDO_Mysql doesn’t wanna work

(Anyone familiair with this?

Anyway, can someone test this part for me? Everything else has been
tested; if this works, I’m ready voor 1.6RC1

That’s good news; my plan was to setup a Postgres instance tonight to look
into this; looks like I have an evening off

Then I suppose I’m ready for 1.6; I’ll update the roadmap.
