How to configure own proxy for "Handling of external http images / mixed content in mails"

When I go to:
Admin -> Applications -> Mail -> Site configuration

There is mention of using a proxy run by egroupware.org to allow images to be loaded using https instead of http.

Which proxy application are you using for this and how did you configure this?

I am asking as I prefer to run this part internally.

We use Nginx:

I managed to get it to work.

I did, however, had to add " resolver " to that.
