On a note somewhat related to the SMS notification plugin, I have yet
another question:
Is it currently possible to configure calendar to always automatically
create a default alarm for new calendar items?
I didn’t find anything like this in the preferences (it would be nice
to have such an option configurable per user).
It should work for all possible ways of creating a calendar item,
regardless of access method (web UI, SyncML, ical).
The main use is actually for creation through SyncML and ical. Some
clients don’t let you specify alarms and you get an alarmless calendar
item. Incidentally, such setups would be most likely to use SMS
notifications.
