Hi…

I’m seeing Javascript erros in a few of the areas I’m testing in eGroupware.
I’ve attached sample screen captures.

screen1.jpg - From Internet Explorer 6 when I first log on and the initial
Calendar screen is displayed.

screen2.jpg - From Netscape 7.2 when I first log on and the initial Calendar
screen is displayed.

screen3.jpg - From Netscape 7.2 while in the E-Mail area.

Should I report these types of errors in the SourceForge bug-reporting
interface? If I do, do these actually get fixed?

Javascript errors are potentionally very disruptive in using the interface,
as such, and given that I have a very basic initial installation, I would
think that these specific errors would have been trapped already. During the
development/testing phase, is somebody watching the Javascript Console?

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett,

first thing we need to know is what eGroupWare version are you talking
about? 1.0.0.009 or the development version

If it’s in the stable release, dont expect it to get fixed, as we are
shortly before releasing a new stable. We dont have the personal
resources to maintain and bugfix multiple release versions.

Hi Ralf…

I’m using the 1.0.0.009-3 version, however, the Javascript errors seem to
have disappeared. I suspect it was something I had done wrong in the
original configuration. In any case, thanks for the response. I like what
I’ve seen here so far. I’ve also put together a team of 5 people from my
company to help me test this application in a multi-user approach.

Regards,

Brett
