Hi,
the DB knows nothing about the number of rows in the html table. I would
guess it’s a general limitation in the content length.
I looked in the code:
- kb already has a longtext column for the article
- wiki only has text (32k)
Maybe in your database egw_kb_article.text is not yet longtext (as the
wiki). In that case you can modify the column to type longtext (eg. with
phpMyAdmin).

Guys
I have created a KB article using tables and it turnes out that if you use a
certain amount of small tables or one long one with many rows it’ll truncate
them before dumping them into the db.
F.e. if I create a table with 8 rows and 11 colums it’ll write it fine.
If I now copy this table a few times it copies exactly 3 more times
completely so 4 tables are ok (32 rows).
The 5th table however gets truncated after row 6. Row 7 only shows the first
column and after that there is nothing,
It’s as if the db has a limit of tables/rows that you can add to a KB
article. I tried to look through the tables wia webmin but I’m not the sql
guy so I"m not sure where to look. I tried adding a table with more than 50
rows and it seems to work fine intially as long as the table is empty. As
you populate it the truncation starts again.
This is severely impacting my documentation since I can’t get all info into
one article.
The same thing happens in the wiki as well.
EG version 1.4.002.
Can someone please help me out ?
