Old question: SyncML 1.2?

Hi all

Yeah, again somebody asking But what should I do? Apparently Sony
Ericsson isn’t able (willing?) to get iCal right (from what I have read
on the net).

Is the integration of the new horde already on the roadmap? I didn’t
find it (but I have to admit that it wouldn’t be the first time I got
lost in the wiki If not: What do you think how much time it would
cost doing it (in case our customer wants it desperately enough to pay
for it)? Days, weeks or months?

I’m following the discussion about SyncML v1.2 for a long time and am
hardly waiting the implementation.

I have integrated horde’s version of syncml to my private branch of
egroupware. It works adequately and phones like the nokia e51 or e65
that have the option of using syncml 1.1 or syncml 1.2 work in both
modes properly.

Now as far as commiting all of this to the main egw trunk, my issue is
available time, which is seriously lacking.

I’ll do so as soon as I can, but I really can’t say when that will be.
