Please advise

Hi
I’m a noob, but a quick study. So any advice would be much appreciated.
The corporation I work for has quite a few companies and quite a few part time workers (in a niche market). So I’d like to propose an idea to the suits of developing a web-site, where all the potential part time workers would login and put their available working dates. Then the employers could login and see who is available when they need staff. Is that the kind of thing I could do with eGroupWare or am I just way off?
Also, I get its open source but am I aloud to edit the interface with another companies branding or is that illegal?

Hi Pointy,

yep, this is very well possible with eGW - and many things more… like project management, CRM and knowledge sharing.

I might be wrong, but you can change the interface as much as you like, as long as you are stating somewhere that the page is based on eGW.

This is not a requirement of the GPL licence. The only requirement is that
code must be release under the GPL, but the user can change the UI the way
they want.
