Hi,

Ok, I’ve spend hours looking into the .php files. boinfolog, uiinfolog, etc,
etc.
1st thing I’ve found is the following code (in boinfolog)
// notify the link-class about the update, as other apps may be subscribt to
it
$this->link->notify_update(‘infolog’,$info_id,$values);
The same code is present in botimesheet. I tried to comment it out in the
timesheet. Project-manager is still updating the values, so that code is
doing nothing??
That not true, that code notifies the projectmanager about the updates.
Also found 2 reported bugs that cover the same issue, bug #1111 and #1255.
Looking into the comments of #1111 I found out that saving an Infolog twice
also works. Also hitting the Apply button should work, but I removed that
button because it causes unlinking…
The unlinking is caused by the fact, that your users (or at least the
concerned ones) have not projectmanager access or are not members of
that project. At the moment you still need to give them projectmanager
as application and make them members of the project.

In short: I’m still stuck at the moment. I also cannot find out how exactly
the project-manager knows wich entries are updated. It looks like when you
hit save in the Infolog, it writes the old values towards the
project-manager and after that saving the new ones or something

Okay, my last try to get this topic under your attention… Not
anyone have
the same problem?
I can’t give you any good advice, except to trace through and try and
figure out what the difference is, and let us know what you find. I
suspect nobody else has any advice better than that, which is why
you’ve gotten no response.

Extra punctuation??? Ug!!!
Just say no! Punctuation marks do not gain significance if you
increase their number, they make you look silly. One is sufficient.
