Spammers able to fill out the Contact form

Hi,

Yesterday evening a spammer successfully filled out the contactform and
send me 3 spams.

It seems, the calculation protection is not effective anymore.

It would be nice to find out (implement or adopt) a better method to
eliminate the bot activity.

(I will be offline for some days, sorry.)

we noticed that too. As far as I know Ralf added some timeframe (10 Secs)
as minimum time for filling out the form. Or at least he planned to do do
so.
That should help.

I my private projects I work with a bayesian spamfilter. It’s spamprobe,
called via “exec()”. I know that this is not a very portable solution
and performance could be better but in some setups it might help. At
least it can adapt better to new spam. Code and documentation is
available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/spfgblib (contribution is,
of course, greatly appreciated too

PS: Are you talking about a contact form at the egroupware website or
about amodule of sitemgr?

Looks like it would really be a good idea to finish the
spamasassin-interface one day since that is a client-server-application
and available for most website owners. Just… that’s a plan I have
since a couple of years without managing to start doing it

Yesterday I moved my own website using spfgblib to an own virtual
server. It might be possible to make it somehow available to other
websites. The application it was originally designed for is already
working as a very basic ASP-solution. There’s just not yet enough
customisation available to allow other people to design their own data
fields. It would need something like eTemplate: then everybody could
place a feedback form at my server and link it into his own site (and to
his own css sheet of course).

Update:
It seems, spammers are on this list, too
They still able to send spams
