And you are right. This option is not available for ical calendar import.
But:
If you use the standard ical calendar import definition, the owner is set to the user who import the ics. And this user then have the edit rights to the appointment.
This is no problem for personal appointments.
But if there are appointments in which there are other internal participants and possibly even appointments are delegated… This can never work 100 per cent.
And that’s not because of EGroupware, but because of the thing itself.
I also don’t think it’s a good idea to let users import their own appointments. Only if they are exclusively their own appointments.
