Greets all,
I attempted to restore a backup without success. I rsync’d the
docroot/egroupware directory off of the server for safe keeping and forced
a
backup before i did an svn update. The current dev version does not suit
me,
so i rsync’d the previous version back and did a backup restore which
didnt
work. Is there a way to do an svn update to specific dates in the past. Im
looking to restore a version from or prior to April 25th. Is this even
possible?
Sure! Just have a look at http://www.egroupware.org/changelog and have a
look for revision number at 2008-04-25. One revision of 2008-04-25 is 25356
for example.
Knowing this you can simply enter your svn checkout and execute
snv update --revision 25356
Or you can execute
svn update --revision {2008-04-25}
For more examples just have a look at
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.0/ch03s03.html .
