SyncML Bug

Hi,

there is one issue with SyncML on a Nokia E61, still after the submit.
It finishes with ‘Sync complete’, but tasks from the phone are not
stored in egw.

I have an output fronm the log file, andthink the error is connected to
th e line:

I have (or had) the same problem and asked about it in the users lists: http://www.nabble.com/Todo-notes-does-not-synchronize-with-SyncML-to13380116s3741.html. I didn’t got any answers so I now made some fixes myself.

The problem was that when syncing “./calendar” target eGroupWare did not sync also “tasks”. Here is some hacks (diff -u) I made to the 1.4.002. I hope that these can be merged in the code base somehow. The same problem occurred also in the trunk version.

Did you ever have tried to sync with ./caltasks ? This is a valid remote folder for calendar.

No, but I tried now and it worked. So this bug was only a configuration mistake. Maybe the documentation should be clearer about this issue because it’s seems logical to choose ./calendar for syncing calendar.

./caltasks is for some mobile phones, which store events and tasks all in
the calendar. They are really similar.

./calendar synchronizes only events.
