Is there a path to update EGroupware when the hosting server does allow ssh but does not allow access to Docker or tools like npm?

My guess is no.
But Softaculous knows about the new version 21.1. But they still need a little time.

Basically, we recommend installing EGroupware at least on a small vServer. This is to have full access and especially to get the full functionality of EGroupware. Especially the push function only works in a standard installation (with Docker).

EGroupware is quite undemanding.
From a lecture 11.2020:

Thats my family EGroupware. And yes, it is on PROXMOX
I just haven’t integrated the EGroupware mail server yet.

In my day job with 80 concurrent users, I give 4 core/4GB RAM. And still bored…

Just to let everyone know Softaculous is offering an upgrade to the latest version and we were able to run it without issue.
