Thanks for the response. How would I go about using the bo of
timesheet directly? Can you shoot me a code example?

the only supported way is to use the bo-class of the timesheet app
itself.
I’m writing an application called TimeCard. The purpose is to route
and approve a timecard for an employee. We just started using
timesheet to record work time but there is no way to print out or
approve a timecard so we can pay the person. I’d love to contribute
to this project, but right now I trying to get over the huge learning
curve of eGW development.
So far I have an app that asks the user for a start date, end date and
who to send the timecard to (Using the account select box). The data
is stored in a new table and then displays a grid of all the table
entries. That pretty much took me two days to figure out.

Btw. what do you want to change / add to the timesheet app?
Have you considered sponsoring that feature instead of adding it
yourself?
The benefit it you aknowledge the effort done by the eGW
developer(s) and
you dont have a permanent maintaince problem with every new eGW
version.
