After login, sesion is flashing like the new connection

Hi,
yesterday I have updated my EGW server (CENTOS 7) to last version. Update finished OK without any problem.

EGW loging scren is OK, but after entering user and password I get the cycling , maybe, callendar screen.

What can I do? Can you help me, plese.

Hello Ruda,

You should have a closer look at the exact url. I think /egroupware/ was cycling in redirects for me as well, a more specific url was not.

Problem with the video: it is to quick to really see something. To debug I would switch the clearing off the log with the redirect off and then check which call gives the redirect.
My guess would be something in the Home app. So my first try would be to log out, change the URL to eg. http://domain.com/egroupware/admin/, that will redirect to login and after login to admin. From there you could close home.

Btw, can I permanently disable the home app? I did not find anything and uninstalling the home app broke Egroupware.

I updated whole server to last version. It means OS Centos with packages of EGW.

Yes I have cleared my Browser cache.

Now I change back previous version (CENTOS and EGW) and everything is OK (it is vmware virtual server).

I had never problem to update to new version. This is first.

My current version: 16.1.20161208-1.1
problematic version: 16.1.20170922

I dont know, what can I do.

We had a similar problem on our ubuntu 14.04 system after updating from egroupware-epl 16.1.20170922 to 16.1.20171106 and noticed, that there was an error when updating the template-package. GPG Key not known or something like this.
We renewed the egroupware repository of our system using the description on this site:
http://www.egroupware.org/de/egroupware-support/technical-information/
After adding the Release.key as described in the paragraph for ubuntu 14.04 and then adding the repo and installing egroupware-epl everything worked again

It’s a pity, but obviously that was a hasty conclusion. This morning we had the same behavior again (reloading the egroupware site all again). It seems to be different on different computers. Some are working, some are not. Has anybody an idea, who to go on?

Hi everybody,
on Friday last week I updated installaton of my EGW 16.1. to 17.1 again. And flashing screen after logging still appears.
But I had some time to compare two user settings (with/without) this problem.
Problem was in settings idots template somewhere in common presets. I changed idots to Standard template (2 times), save it and after new login flashing doesn’t appears.

if you have installed the old jDots-Template (see Release Notes 17.1),
you can (de-)select the template under
Preferences/Common preferences/Lookfeel/Interface | Template

jDots has limited maintenance. Therefore jDots is deprecated and will not be installed.
