Ajax request failed: Internal Server Error

Hello. I’m quite new to Egroupware. I had to make resourse migration, what was successful, but sometimes, users got error, using FireFox only. error .

Also, in apache error log, I can see further error :

I’ve searched for the same issue, and I found that update may help, I’m using :
EGroupware 14.3.007 + Layout : pixelegg

Please, advise me how to solve this problem.

Hey. Seems I corrected my question at the same time, as You’ve answered me.
present version: EGroupware 14.3.007 + Layout : pixelegg.
PHP 7.0.18
MySql
Apache
It was a migration.

Hi Remski,

From the posted error log I can tell that your instance either has no news_admin app installed or has no run permission to it, since it’s has been asked by the Home app and can’t find one of its classes.

By the way, is there any particular reason that you’re using 14.3 version and not 17.1? It’s recommended using the latest version 17.1 to benefit lots of bug fixes and tones of new features we have.

Thank’s for reply, as I wrote before, German&&French forums also advise to update for analogous issues solving .
Any how, if so, why users don’t receive any errors using Chrome browser?

Referring the Fatal error: “Class ‘news_admin_favorite_portlet’ not found in /usr/share/egroupware/home/inc/class.home_ui.inc.php on line 167”, this should happen on server regardless of browser you use since it’s a server-side error caused by not being able to find news_admin class, but if in client-side the error is not showing up as a message in Chrome that’s another matter.

Please check on your installation source if there’s folder called news_admin or if you don’t have access to your sources you may go to EGroupware setup page and in Manage applications section look for news_admin app.
