Calendar Sync Set Up

Hi,

I’m trying to set up the calendar app to sync with various calendar applications on users local machines. I’m having a hard time finding set up instructions, and doing it without instructions has proven difficult.

The specific hurdle I am trying to jump right now is that I am trying to use the freebusy.php file to show events on remote calendar applications (such as Outlook, iCal & Lighting/Thunderbird) and it seems like there is no iCal information showing up. Maybe this is the wrong way to sync?

Does anyone know of a place online that lists set up instructions for syncing with remote calendar applications? Thank you.

But the URL’s (as shown) for the calendars are not valid on my install.

I’m running 1.6.002 on Ubuntu.

icalsrv is not officially supported in 1.006 any more. You can manually
extract the files from http://sourceforge.net/projects/egroupware/files/.
Then, register the icalsvr application in egroupware/setup and grant
access to it in the admin application.
