pukkers,
I’m going to reply with as much as know, I hope it helps…
I recently installed eGroupware (my first time) on a CentOS v5 server, so i can only assume that this is the equivalent of a Redhat Enterprise v5 install, which should be very similar to a Fedora 8 install…
The only way that I could get the yum package manager to recognize the repositories and install the software for me was to use the Yum Extender (yumex) package.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/yumex/
Now I admit that the gui is not a “manly” as working from a command line, but I’ll tell you, the gui did for me what I was unable to do without it.
In fact, it made the entire eGroupware install quite painless.
As far as where it should show up when installed, you might check the
/usr/share/egroupware
directory, which is where it all (programs) ended up on my system.
This dir structure is about 53MB in size on my system.
Hope some of this helps, best of luck, it’s worth it, eGroupware is pretty slick.
Regards
Kent
