Hi,
I installed the 1.6.003.2 version of egroupware from the FreeBSD ports on a
system several months ago. It has been working fine.
I upgraded the ports yesterday, and that brought the install up to
1.8.001.20110216.
However, the upgrade didn’t seem to work - if I go to the “Setup” screen, it
tells me I need to upgrade the database. But if I give it the ‘admin’ login
and the password in the header.inc.php file, instead of doing the database
update it jus brings me back to the login screen. This seems to be the
case for most every option on the setup screen.
Not sure I understand that correct:
If EGroupware setup tells you, you need to update the database, you are
already logged into Setup and only need to click on the update button.
It does NOT ask for an account at that point!
If you are loged into setup and whatever you do there gets you back to
setups login screen, your browser does for some reason not accept the
cookie send by setups login.
Ralf
What do I need to do either get 1.8 up and running?
H
