I found and fixed your problem, it’s a typo in
phpgwapi/inc/class.auth_ldap.inc.php. It’s fixed now in svn for trunk
and 1.4. You can download the modified class from our svn:

how can I get the shadow schema ? please note the account active is also
there in Nimel schema. but that is not appearing in the
ldapsearch above. so how can I get it ? please enlighten me. thanks
