Hi Per-Olov,
Hi
I installed egroupware a week ago or so (eGroupware-1.8.001.20101013). My
primary purpose was to sync calendar entries between Macbooks, a web UI and
iPhones.
I saw post http://www.egroupware.org/forum#nabble-td984581 (had the same
problem). The suggested php file change from Ralph also solved my problem
for the calendar that now works absolutely perfect 2way between web, MAC and
iPhones.
Better to use the new version 1.8.001.20101026, which has that patch
includes plus a lot more fixes and improvements for CardDAV and CalDAV.
However… The addressbook is not ok. All added entries from the iPhone
immediately sync to egroupware. But the sync back to the iPhone from changed
or new entried in egroupware only works if I change something in the CardDAV
account in the iPhone and click “done” so it’s refreshed. Does anybody know
if it’s a iPhone bug?
It’s not really a bug, it is so by concept. EGroupware (the server) can
never trigger an update. Updates happen when the clients chooses to do
so. Unfortunately there’s no button in iPhone to trigger a manual
update. Going to the highest level in iPhone addressbooks and then back
to a specific addressbook does the trick.
