Knowledebase on egroupware.org

Hi all,

I finished migrating the knowledgebase articles to the wiki. I did this to enhance the usability of egroupware.org . More about the reasons:

There are still two articles, I don’t know what to do about:

article: 36 APT (apt-get): http://www.egroupware.org/knowledge_base&menuaction=phpbrain.uikb.view_article&art_id=36
Is this information still correct? status: pending: There has been different discussions about the debian egw-package on the list. Perhaps anyone can tell me.

2.article: 13 HTMLarea & Mozilla/Firefox: http://www.egroupware.org/knowledge_base&menuaction=phpbrain.uikb.view_article&art_id=13
I don’t understand this, it’s for editing html areas like using sitemgr? status: pending

The next steps:

I will contact the authors of the knowbase articles via mail
I wait for feedback for the 2 pending articles
I will check the have to participate etc. sites on egrouware.org and rewrite the knowbase part
I will contact Stefan in order to deactivate the knowbase on egroupware.org

eGW 1.4.004 is now available in etch-backports.

This one is no longer valid / necessary as we use FCK in 1.4 and trunk.

thank you for your quick answer.

okay, I didn’t found the word debian anywhere in the wiki (exept german FAQ), If you want me to keept the knowbase article, which title should I use?
If not, I could add a hint somewhere in the installation manual, that those etch packages exists (and add your link).

Hi Frank,

I dont know a good solution for that, as it’s a moving target.

When we write the installation manual, the new version is not available
in Debian.

When you wrote now look into Debian testing for eGW packages, it will
again be wrong in a few weeks, when they move it in the next branch.
