Hello Stefan,
encrypted SMTP connection seems still not to work over here with
eGroupware:
In Thunderbird I have for this same account under SMTP port 587 with
STARTTLS - and this works.
In eGroupware I set SMTP to port 587 in email configuration but the
email is not sent and I get an error window telling me that the email
could be sent.
“Error: Could not send message. Trying to recover from session data”

Hi Tin,
yes you are right, the Buttons are missing, but it is magic, it works
without the buttons
Try it with the right ports and it will work.

Hello Stefan,
hmm - I don’t see it, sorry.
In the IMAP configuration I see the field to set the port and the
radio button for different possibilities of encryption.
But in the SMTP setup I see only the field for the port information.
