Warning: ldap_search() [function.ldap-search]: Partial search results returned: Sizelimit exceeded

Dear friends,

I take this error on addressbook. We have more than 1500 contacts on
our catalog, we have success importing all of them.

But, when I, and another users access the adreessbook, see the message
following:

Warning: ldap_search() [function.ldap-search]: Partial search results
returned: Sizelimit exceeded. in
/var/www/portal/addressbook/inc/class.so_ldap.inc.php on line 810

First Limiting the search to 300 contacts, defined on:
/addressbook/inc/class.so_ldap.inc.php

I did try to change it:

var $ldapLimit = 300 to var $ldapLimit =3000

and the error continue, but now showing 500 contacts.

Somebody can help-me?
How can I solve it?

There’s a second limit imposed by slapd itself - thought you can change
it too.
