I would like to know where if any are instructions on setting acl
permissions. I cant seem to get it right. All I need to do is as follows.
User 1 (admin)creates 2 projects. He needs to assign 1 project to a single
individual user 2 and admin and the other to user 3 and admin. Can anyone
point me in the right direction?

If you talk about the old projects app.
You can make the user who need write access the coordinator of the
project and the other users project-members (this does NOT require to
set any ACL).
Same works with the new ProjectManager too.

is there a way to force FelaMiMail to use a user’s IMAP mail spool
file and folder directory (e.g. /var/spool/mail/ and $HOME/mail) only; without presenting the whole $HOME in the subscribtion dialog and
without using a $HOME/.mailboxlist ?

That’s currently not possible, but can be added easily.

Does this mean that there may be an user’s (or admin) preference to set
this in next versions?
Well, for now (V1.0.0.009) it works for me with
two little modifications in:
The only thing I would look for is to prevent FelaMiMail from presenting
the empty “mail” entry itself and the mail folder path names below and
including imapBaseDir.
