Editing user accounts deletes name and email address

Hi,

when using the user account editor admin.uiaccounts.edit_user a simple
click on ‘save’ causes egroupware to delete the values of first name,
family name and email address.

Any hint?

That means, you use the trunk version.
Sorry, you should wait for developers to test your report.
But you should write your environment to them (in this forum) to help them
(revision number, used account store, php

Hi!

when using the user account editor admin.uiaccounts.edit_user a simple
click on ‘save’ causes egroupware to delete the values of first name,
family name and email address.
The same for me with current version of head.
I noticed that I can change the contact details when I choose “addressbook” on
the left while editing the user account.
So first do all settings for the account. Do not modify any personal
information like name or mail address – just ignore it because it won’t get
saved. Save them.
Then edit the contact again, choose addressbook on the left and change any
detail there: name, address, emailaddress – whatever you want to. Save the
addressbook entry and cancel editing of the user.
That way all changes will be preserved. The downside: whenever you change a
thing for this user account you will re-loose all changes to address book.
This of course is a bug and will hopefully be fixed soon!

I can NOT reproduce that on my system

Only guess I have at the moment, there might be a non php4 instruction
somewhere, which produces this behaviour.

I have no more PHP4 LDAP system.

LDAP3 is not longer a config option, as it is now detected automatic.

I dont understand what your problem is, can you explain it a bit more.

Editing any addressbook entry shows all fields empty. Also, I can’t create
any new entry. However, with sql this works ok.

I hope that this info, together with the one below, can give you an idea of
what can be the problem.
