Hi,
This is a cosmetic nit but whenever a user logs into Egroupware when Rocket chat is not installed they get a red error box:
I can tell it is rocket chat app; when I enter admin and select the rocket chat application I see the same error message in the status box. I have tried to remove or even disable the rocket chat application and have not found a way to do that. The admin says the rocket chat is not installed so I don’t see why it is pestering my users with this error message every time they log in.
Any suggested solutions?
Hi gjpc.
Until you have use/configured Rocket.chat, you can remove the execution rights.
Stefan
Thanks for the quick reply Stefan, but I don’t know how to remove execution rights nor what to remove execution rights on.
Would you please elaborate?
Got to:
E.g. the Default Group. delete the entry for Rocket.Chat:
Do that for all relevat groups. Thats it. Do not delete the Group!!!
Stefan, using admin->Access control and deleting Rocket.Chat from the run rights for applications panel works perfectly. Thanks for highlighting the Default Group Run rights for applications drop down which is not the default for the edit panel.
