Still having problems here too, with felamimail. We have a courier-imap server where eGW also runs, that works perfectly with all other email clients, including Squirrelmail. max_execution_time has been raised to 3 minutes, memory_limit to 128 MB(!), and we still have timeouts on mail accounts that contain a lot of messages (~10k messages, or more) An example error message from syslog:
“… Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) …”
Again, all other email clients work perfectly and are very responsive, including Squirrelmail.
EGW has such great potential, but felamimail seems to be a weak link in some cases, at least. It’s so close to being a very nice email client, though. And, it’s such an essential component of an application such as this – especially if there is to be widespread adoption of eGW.
It would be a dream come true if Squirrelmail, or even Thunderbird could be integrated with eGW somehow. Hey, a guy can dream, can’t he??
Anyway, thanks again to the team for your amazing work. I can’t offer much help at this point, but I’ll continue to extol the virtues of eGW. I remain hopeful that felamimail will be sorted out in the near future.
