Hello All,

I Just upgraded to CVS version (1.3.013) and Falamimail cant connect to IMAP. This is errors:

Warning: imap_open() [function.imap-open]: Couldn’t open stream {192.168.0.3:143/imap/notls} in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/egroupware/emailadmin/inc/class.defaultimap.inc.php on line 302

Warning: imap_getsubscribed(): supplied argument is not a valid imap resource in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/egroupware/felamimail/inc/class.bofelamimail.inc.php on line 574

Warning: imap_getmailboxes(): supplied argument is not a valid imap resource in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/egroupware/felamimail/inc/class.bofelamimail.inc.php on line 579

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/egroupware/felamimail/inc/class.uiwidgets.inc.php on line 83

I tried uninstall Falamimail, Emailadmin, delete/create email prifiles, cerate own email settings… nothing helps.
Any ideas ???

That’s the main problem. Is there anything in the mailservers logfile?

It looks like Egroupware doesnt send any username an password…

this is logfile from mailserver (Cyrus IMAP)

after some testing and lookin where is problem, i find next info abut this problem:
The problem occurs when I select in “emailadmin” application option

“users can define their own emailaccounts”

(I REALLY verified that user-defined account is defined right - except some strange issue is when I am entering password arterisks doesnt show)

When users can NOT define accounts everything works fine. (users can access their IMAP)
I need tu use different settings (username/passwords) on IMAP server than in Egroupware.
Any Ideas ???

Hi,

The situation is, I have an egroupware user (admin) who try to connect to a
system user’s imap folder (user).

I traced back, what happens. It seems emailadmin do not send the right username/pwd.

I simply wrote directly the username/password to emailadmin, instead of
$username and $password.
In class.defaultimap.inc.php line 431. (function imap_open).
In this case, it is working well (Except I wrote directly, what I want, instead
of using the admin pages to setup).

Question is, why felamimail/emailadmin do not respect what I setup directly?

The situation is, I have an egroupware user (admin) who try to connect to a
system user’s imap folder (user).

I traced back, what happens. It seems emailadmin do not send the right username/pwd.

Question is, why felamimail/emailadmin do not respect what I setup directly?
