Hello,
I have a problem with the setup. I did this step:
http://www.egroupware.org/index.php?
page_name=wiki&wikipage=ManualSetupManageheader
Then I was forwarded to a login screen but when I entered my login
it didn’t
work. Above de login it says also invalid IP adress. I don’t see the
problem, the IP should be good.
But now if a want change the settings, I can’t go back to the
ManualSetupManageheader.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Thank you in advance.

Pardon me Lars, Ralf
To me, that sounds a bit to cheap and easy answer: it’s not egw
coding but …ONLY… your webserver and database?
Sorry, but that’s simple not true, it depends on all three part, yet
if your not developing the only thing you can do is using something
like APC to improve the overall performance of the webserver and PHP.
That’s a more fair answer to Demetris question.
I continue on the dev list, as that is more appropriate.

faster.
No. eGroupWare’s speed only depends on your webserver and your
database. If
you can not make your webserver/database server faster(by adding
more ram,
installing APC, improvie the cachesize on mysql) then you can only
switch
your provider.
Cheapest Solution is a php bytecode cache like eg. APC (a peckl
extension) or eAccelerator. We have made good experiences with
both, but
please visit their websites (google for it) and dont ask here how to
install them …
Faster hardware is an option too

The schema you use have no attribute for certain fields, the fields
can
not be edited.

You probably put something in the ACL field in the header.inc.php.
Most
easy is to edit header.inc.php with a text-editor (not Word or
similar!)
and empty the field.
