Ical server - doesn't serve ics files

Hi all
I was syncing my Thunderbird/Lightning calendar with eGW 1.4.004, and it worked OK, but when I upgraded to 1.6, the syncing now fails.

It gives me a 404 error when reading https://mydomain.com/egroupware/icalsrv.php/events.ics ( I can see in the logs)
and the same when I try to access /list.html

I can however get my calendar to update when I point Thunderbird at mydomain.com/egroupware/icalsrv/icalsrv.php
but it is very slow.

Why is this? and how to fix?

Hi.

i had a similar problem today.
what i did was add icalsrv/ before the icalsrv.php in the link so it
became /egroupware/icalsrv/icalsrv.php/… that works fine now.
my guess woudl be if u don’t add anythign after icalsrv.php that it gets
all the info it can and noot just events,…
I also did create an account on te egw webpage and fix the wiki links

on another note … any clue if there’s a way to get thunderbird to sync
address book with egw w/o using ldap for addressbook as backend?

Yes, excellent. That’s it. thanks.

Now however, when I’m in eGW I can see there has been multiple logins by the calendar that haven’t yet died. Seems something isn’t closing the connection after syncing the cal.
No prob, it works now as I’m used to.
