Multiple Calendars

Hello,

I am aware that egroupware doesn’t support multiple calendars per account, but I am trying to come up with a workaround that I can use with Thunderbird/Lightning.

A single calendar works fine, and my obvious first step was to create a second account for the second calendar I need, however Lightning only does a single auth for a single site.

Any suggestions how I can work around this?

Hello,

If you are not using the Ressources Module, you can create as many
calendar as you want with it and may assign them to a particular user or
group (ACL) ?

I didn’t look how to export via Groupdav the ressources calendars for
TB/Ligthning, but this is my goal for this end of year…

Thanks for the reply Vincent. I am a bit unclear how to use it this
way. I have created a new resource category called Calendars and a new
resource within it for the calendar I want.

I have set the permissions to Default Group, which contains everyone.

If I try and book a meeting with myself and the calendar resource I have
created, I get “permission denied”. The resource is set to bookable.

But from what you are saying, even if I can get this to work, it isn’t
exposed by groupdav, so I won’t be able to use it? Is that correct?

I have also given my account full read-write access to another user’s
calendar, in the hope that I can see that via groupdav. It is there
listed in the principles section of groupdav but the calendar itself
isn’t visible.

I’m using multiple calendar with TB 3.1.6 and EGW 1.8001

with setting in Lightning: (caldav )
http://hostname/egroupware/groupdav.php/username/calendar/

All works fine ( if the user has a permission to read calendar )

Only one glitch When create entry in Calendar from TB, no invitation send to Attendees.

Anyone has that issue?

I’ve tested davical with TB ( and all work fine there so it should be some settings in EGW )
Any point where to look for that problem?
