Hi all,

For a long time already (years…) I don’t get a notification when a new mail comes in.
In Preferences, “Show notification for new arriving emails” is set to “Always”, but I don´t get anything.

Probably the server is not triggered automatically; I have to refresh mail manually to check if I’ve got something new.

I’m not sure where to enable this (or if there’s any setting at all). It used to work once (in v1.8 for sure, I skipped 14, not sure about 16).

After every update I secretly hope it’s suddenly working, but after today’s again it doesn’t :-/
My current version is 23.1.20241128, I’m running an own server (no Docker) with Dovecot.v2.3.21.1.

It’s clearly not urgent but annoying, so all hints are welcome, a solution even more
