By and large, my egroupware usage is on hold until a final releases comes
out. I keep reading about bugs and performance issues, etc. As far as
mail, goes, there are lots of posts on the issue. This stuff is not my day
job, but I can try to explain my partial success.
I use bluehost.com (in my opinion a great hosting service for a great price)
to host my site. They offer 2500 IMAP email accounts. So, I have to
manually set up an IMAP account on my server, then create a user in EGW with
the same username and password. That seems to do the trick.
Major oversimplification of a topic that is over my head. Make sense to
you?

I just read the rest of my original post- and I have not been able to fix
the problem I described there, but I gave up to be honest. EGW has a lot of
potential, but it needs people like us to struggle so the developers can fix
problems. Unfortunately, I am not quite smart enough to be of any great
help to the developers…
