Remove Rocket.Chat link, from the lest side menu

Hi Folks

I am new to EG and so far i love it. I mainly use it in our family of 6 and it is perfect to manage the private life

I do have a question, we normally do not use Rocket.Chat.
Have can i fully remove it from the left side menu? because everytime someone click on it, it generates an error. A full remove of the link simply make sense

I have seen similar question about removing calender link but there was no solution provided

we normally do not use Rocket.Chat.

But you installed it (?).

In EGw, you can remove the execution rights for RC from users. Then RC should no longer appear in the UI.

Uninstalling it from your system is another story…

Thanks for the info.

Removing it from the system is not needed. I only want to remove it from the menu at all.
Was trying to prevent access to it, but it is always shown in the menu. going to try it again maybe i am doing something wrong

It depends on how your users obtained the execution right. You can check this for a user:

In this case, the right takes precedence over a group.

You can then also look at the group and delete the execution right:
