Good Evening All,
I am assisting a client in migrating/upgrading his groupware from a hosted service to an internally hosted server (Against my advice).
Egroupware is installed, and data has been ported. I’ve gotten the IMAP service to work, however everytime I attempt to send a message I get:
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
I’ve verified the settings, using their existing SMTP host as well as attempting to using my own Comcast smtp (authenticated) host.
I’ve attempted on port 25 as well as 587 (the alternative for these hosts) with the error not changing.
Any ideas on what to check?
On the log end, going to view the logs under the admin, and clicking the show last page gives me a blank page. However, I can click next next next to get there…unfortunately, the logs include everything from day one of the servers original install. Is there anyway to clear them, download the log completely, or parse them via a command line? I’ve review the documentation, and cant seem to find a location to look outside of the admin.
Thanks in advance for any light you might shed on this,
Some basics,
CENTOS 5.2
SElinux disabled
Egroupware 1.6 (upgraded from 1.4)
Thanks,
Dale
